luck has nothing to do with effort, talent, strategic intelligent paly, a great backhand, a life dedicated to play tennis full of triomphs and ”garra” that is why Arancha defeated Seles. and Graf and so so many others, Cheers
In fact no, Arantxa was better at the FO final, she wasn’t as talented as Graf or Seles, but she was a great clay court player (i think she could kick the ass of most actual top players without effort) and she was mentally really tough, so she can beat anybody if the rival wasn’t at her best
Graf had already won 11 slams, half of her 22 before the stabbing, so how is it technically possible for the majority of Grafs 22 slams to be by the stabbing. Not to mention 3 of the ones to come were Wimbledons where grass court dummy Seles never had a hope in hell of beating Graf so that is a minimum 3 more gauranteed. In short you are an idiot. The stabbing was horrible only since it made BOTH Graf and Seles overrated and brought out the crazy retard fan bases of both.
no no no she was no lucky, she played smart tennis and defused monicas power with guile defense and out manouvering
b4 i watched the match i cudnt believe the score, then ive seen the match and arantxa deserved the win… but it would have been fitting if monica had won
She also beat Monica at the same tournament shown in this video (Canadian open final of 1992 in Montreal)
Seles did deserve to win the 1998 french open final as Monica powered her way through the tournament and seemed in her best physical shape since her prestabbing form.
Graf was the beneficiary of the majority of her 22 slams because of the Monica stabbing, she took advantage of the situation bigtime
arantxa was so desperate to beat monica, she finally did it at the finals of french in 1998, congrats for being so persistent (though she was lucky that day)
what happened to arantxa’s arm?

sorry Mr No I have to correct you:
Arantxa has beaten Monica twice before the 1998 FO:
1992 Canadian Open final
1997 WTA Championships R15
The total head-to-head is 20-3 in Monicas favour.
