No, Sanchez and Graf only played in 7 slam finals.
At FO 89 Sanchez won with 7-5 in the third set, at USO with 6-4 in the third.
Steffi won in Wimbledon 95 with 7-5 in the third and at FO 96 with 10-8 in the third.
Were very boring slam finals back then.
In no way comparable to today’s barn-stormers …
I really wanted Graf and Seles to play in that year’s final. Graf vs Sanchez Vicario always bored me to tears. Not an interesting rivalry at all!

does anyone agree that in recent years female tennis players have become younger and more petite… i loved the 90’s for the players like sanchez-vicario, sabatini, martinez, navratilova and I just dont think you get players like this any more? this isnt a criticism, its just something ive noticed!
