Wimbledon Predictions – Men
Winner: There can be fewer hotter tickets than a men’s Grand Slam final. In this golden age of the sport, spectators are virtually guaranteed a classic match. The Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal showdowns in Melbourne and Paris did not disappoint, and another chapter of this high-quality rivalry should be written at Wimbledon.
Djokovic has some tricky early tests, but these should just get him back into the groove on grass he found last year, and I expect him to see off Tomas Berdych and Roger Federer to reach yet another final.
Andy Murray and, perhaps, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga will push Nadal hard, but, like Djokovic, he thrives under the pressure of tight matches. The Spaniard has won three of the most recent clay meetings between the pair, but the world number one, Djokovic, should edge yet another classic at SW19. Read more »
